JBT, BSTC, and D.Ed
Haryana is the name of for single course. JBT course is for those who want to
be JBT teachers. JBT stands for Junior Basic Teacher, D.Ed full form is Diploma
in Education, D.El.Ed is Elementary Education and BSTC is Basic School Teaching
Course.
To
become the JBT Teacher you must have two important certificates.
- The
first one is the Certificate of Diploma in Education (D. El. Ed).
- And
the second is the HTET. For having a Diploma in Elementary Education you have to take admission in the Haryana JBT course online.
JBT Previous recruitment-
Government of Haryana,
in 2012 advertised for the vacancy of JBT teachers. These posts were of two cadres-
Rest of Haryana cadres
and Mewat cadres.
Selected candidates
for this recruitment were appointed in 2017. Since 2012, the Haryana Government has
not advertised for JBT teachers and hence the chances are very high of new
recruitment in the coming years. D.Ed 2019 batch has already started and new batch
for 2020-22 will soon be commenced.
Colleges-
There are total 342
colleges listed. From the list of 342 candidates are allowed to choose their
college. While applying for JBT course Candidates are given the option to choose
five institutes from the list. Out of 342 colleges, six colleges are government-owned and the remaining are self-financing colleges) owned by a private organization.
B.ED M.ED JBT DIRECT ADMISSION |
JBT Course Admission Eligibility Criteria-
(A) The admission will be open to bonafide residents of Haryana
and outside Haryana.
(B)The minimum Education Qualification for Admission to these
courses is as follows:-
(I) Diploma in Elementary Education
(D.El.Ed.)
i. Candidates must obtain 50% marks in Senior Secondary (10+2)
from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or its equivalent examination
with five subjects including passed English as one of the subject.
ii. There shall be a relaxation of 5% i.e47.5% at Senior Secondary
(10+2) level for Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC) and Differently
abled candidates.
iii. Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit
(II) Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu):-
D.El.Ed. (U)
In
addition to the qualifications prescribed as at (i) above for Diploma in
Education (D.El.Ed), the candidate should have passed Urdu in Secondary (10th
class) Examination from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or any other
Board having equivalence of their examinations
Note:
1. A candidate having higher qualifications will not be entitled
to any additional benefit whatsoever; he/she will have to fulfill all the
requisite prescribed qualification and other eligibility conditions.
2. The eligibility of a candidate (as on 25-08-2018) for admission
to D.El.Ed. Course shall be verified at the time of admission/counselling.
3. The medium of Instruction & Examination for D.El.Ed. Course
will be Hindi except Urdu & English subjects.
Reservation:
As per instructions issued by
Chief Secretary, Government of Haryana, General Services – III Branch, there
will be reservation in admission as under (subject to change by State
Government): -

JBT Course Admission Documents required
The applicants must produce original documents with attested copies.

Allotment Letter (1 copy each)
- 10th and
12th Education Certificate
- Caste Certificate
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- If applicable, certificate
related to reservations like BC, SC, and PHC etc.
JBT Course Admission Self-Financed
Institutions Fees:
Fee for Self-Financed Institutions
in the state of Haryana is Rs.25, 800/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand
Eight Hundred Only) annually as per notification excluding actual examination
fees as prescribed by the examination body. The 2nd year fees
is same as per notification will be paid in the institution after completion of 1st-year examination.
Note:
1. Fees once paid will
not be refunded in any case and the Institution seat will be treated as filled.
